Chained to a stake a bulldog sat
And gnawed a bone with meat and fat.
A wiener dog, a little guy.
Just happened to be passing by.
He saw the dog, the bone, the stake,
Thought, "Here's a chance I ought to take!"
Said, "Listen here bulldog, bulldog,
Share with me your bone.
It is, bulldog, bulldog, bulldog,
Too big to eat alone."
Then bulldog snarled at wiener dog
"No, not a single crumb!"
And made a lunge at wiener dog,
Who took off at a run!
Then wiener ran around the stake
With bulldog close behind.
And as they ran, around the stake
The chain began to wind.
