A lion shares my home with me
A lion brave as brave can be
No ordinary pet is he:
No timid scaredy cat.
No mouse, 
No moose,
No grouse,
No goose.
The very opposite of that!
But once I left him for the day
I hated so to go away
But felt sure he would be OK.
Since he's no common pet at all.
No mouse, 
No moose, 
No grouse,
No goose.
But still disaster could befall
My pet if I'm not there at all.
I rushed home fast as I could race
Ran up the stairs at record pace
I heard my lion crying there
And found him underneath the chair.
